TRI-UNITY30 with Furitek FULLRANGE DRIVE™

TRI-UNITY30 combines the brushless motor, transmission and Furitek FOC ESC in one compact drivetrain. Its new geared architecture works with Furitek Field-Oriented Control to deliver a wider usable speed range for 1/30 crawling.

At very low speed, FOC provides the fine throttle control needed to ease a tire onto a ledge or hold a deliberate line through an obstacle. As throttle increases, FULLRANGE DRIVE™ brings in stronger mid-range response and much higher available wheel speed, with a smooth transition that gives the crawler a more natural driving feel.

The result is a drivetrain that supports both patient technical crawling and faster wheel action when momentum is needed, with driving characteristics closer to larger 1/24 and 1/18 crawler platforms.

Built-in WiFi and FuriCar App Tuning

Built-in WiFi connects the ESC to the FuriCar App for wireless setup and tuning. Adjust the drivetrain response to suit the terrain, your driving style and your competition setup without adding an external programming module.

Low-CG Design with Selectable Weight Bias

KRAWL 30 places the compact TRI-UNITY30 drivetrain low in the chassis while using a lightweight titanium frame and competition body to limit upper weight. Brass front steering knuckle weights add mass directly at the front axle, helping load the front tires without adding weight high on the chassis.

The motor and ESC are positioned on the same side of the drivetrain. Depending on the installed drivetrain orientation, drivers can place that concentrated mass toward the front or rear to suit their setup. A front-biased configuration puts more of the drivetrain weight toward the front axle for climbing-focused builds.

This approach combines low drivetrain mass placement, reduced upper weight, and deliberate tire loading. The included 12.8g brass wheels place additional mass at each wheel instead of high on the chassis, helping lower the overall center of gravity and keep the tires loaded on uneven terrain.

21° Skid, Wide Axles and Controlled Suspension

The 21° competition angled skid works with high-clearance links to improve obstacle clearance and help reduce hang-ups as the chassis moves across ledges. Aluminum front and rear axles are +4 mm wider than stock SCX30, creating a wider stance for side-hill stability.

25 mm aluminum oil-filled shocks provide damping for controlled articulation over uneven terrain. Front and rear steel driveshafts complete the driveline between the TRI-UNITY30 transmission and both axles.

Yellow Edition Competition Body and Hardbody Compatibility

The included lightweight competition body comes painted in the Yellow Edition finish. Magnetic mounting allows quick removal for battery access and chassis work, with a clean exterior and no traditional body clips.

The aluminum modular mounting system also supports direct mounting of the stock SCX30 hardbody. Use the included lightweight body to keep upper weight down, or fit a stock SCX30 hardbody for a scale appearance on the same chassis platform. The stock SCX30 hardbody is not included.

ANT PRO Steering with Aluminum Servo Horn

The Furitek ANT PRO Aluminum Digital High-Speed Steering Servo delivers a rated speed of 0.050 sec/60° at 6V and stall torque of 1.3 kgf·cm at 6V. A brushed coreless motor, metal gears and CNC aluminum case form a compact steering package weighing approximately 7 g.

The included Aluminum Servo Horn provides a rigid connection for direct steering input. High-angle front U-joint/CVD axle shafts support up to approximately 45° steering, helping the crawler negotiate tight turns and reposition on technical obstacles.

12.8g Brass Wheels. Super Soft & Sticky Grip.

KRAWL 30 Yellow Edition comes standard with four brass wheels, weighing 12.8g each, paired with Super Soft & Sticky 40-16-R0.7 tires. This wheel and tire package is included with the crawler.

The brass wheels concentrate weight down low at the tires, helping the crawler stay planted during slow technical maneuvers. Combined with the low-mounted TRI-UNITY30 drivetrain and lightweight titanium frame, they support a low center of gravity and deliberate weight distribution.

Super Soft & Sticky describes the tire compound: soft enough to conform around small rocks and edges, with a tacky surface designed to improve grip. The tires work with the added wheel weight to maintain contact as the suspension follows uneven terrain.

Use the precision of Furitek FOC to place each tire carefully, then feed in wheel speed when the obstacle needs momentum. The wheel and tire setup complements the full driving range of TRI-UNITY30 FULLRANGE DRIVE™.
