Standard hook and loop needs a separate hook strip and loop strip, and it is easy to stick the wrong one on. These pads are genderless: there is no male or female side, and every pad grips every other pad. Put one on the rock slider and one on the battery, press them together, and the battery is locked in place.

No sorting, no matching, and any spare pad works anywhere.

Neat Build, Low Battery Mount

Mounting the battery on the rock slider keeps it low on the chassis and out of the way of the body. The pads hold it securely on the trail, then release cleanly when it is time to charge.
