Had this motor on my rig for over a year now, it is solid and powerful! My rig has a lot of weight in wheels and brass parts. This thing dosent even flinch at it, with a 3s battery i have all the power. Motor hardley ever gets hot even after a hard crawl sesh. If you have a bigger rig or weight this motor will do everything and more.

This motor requires a bit of modification to the plastic mounts for the battery or ESC mount, but it is easy enough to do.

Beyond that, this is a fantastic motor set up with a furitek esc. The slow crawl ability is CRAZY! Not to mention you can also change your throttle response through the app if you get a Bluetooth version of an esc. Strongly recommend purchasing the Bluetooth enabled esc's for more adjustment options.

Batteries last far longer than a standard 88t brushed motor on a scx24.

I'm from Canada and the cost for the Lizard esc and komodo was $230, but it is absolutely worth the cost. Raving customer support put me over the edge when my stock esc/rx wouldn't boot after less than a month.

Running this setup for 2 months and it is still going strong. Save up and get a furitek upgrade for your scx24. You won't regret it!

I haven't had a chance to drive my Axial SCX24 Deadbolt, other than on a wooden floor. I wish I would have known about mounting the products to the SCX24. I had to mount the electronics vertical, which has made me raise the body. But that's my fault, I should have read the specs. Looking back on it, I probably should have ordered a Lizard. But, I figure the Tegu was the latest and greatest you had out. Again, my fault. Plus, I wanted a 3s option and maybe being able to mount the motor reversed could have helped

This is a great upgrade that will completely change the way you truck drives.
