FURITEK BETTLE CARBON FIBER COMP CHASSIS FOR TRAXXAS TRX-4M

Wanted to like this more than I do. Parts are well made with clean cuts along each of the frame rails. Came with no instructions but it was easy enough to figure out. First concerns were with the hardware. The upper shock mounting bolts are a smaller diameter than the factory bolts which allows for some slop in the attachment point. The front upper suspension link mounts slightly low on the chassis. If you’re using high clearance links, the lower link will hit the eyelet of the upper link before the suspension fully compresses. This could be easily fixed by allowing for a slightly higher mounting position of the upper link. Can’t drill another hole for it in the cassis as there is no material there to drill. The roof is an uncomfortably tight fit if you’re still using the stock ECM. The plugs for the servo and lights hit the top of the roof. There is no way to attach the battery plug unless the ecm is slid as far forward as possible so the battery plug can sit outside the front of the roof edge. I’ll probably end up notching the roof edge to give a little more clearance for the battery plug. The hardware supplied isn’t the greatest and I reused the factory bolts wherever possible. The roof mounting screws stripped out when trying to screw into the plastic roof material. Luckily, I have the stainless screw kit that had the correct size screws with Allen heads. Overall, it’s a cool chassis but it needs a few small tweaks in order to work better with the TRX4M. Allen head bolts for the roof would also be much less likely to strip.

Haven't opened it ordered another chassis kit from another company that fixes the stand up servo issue. So not sure what I will be doing with with the chassis I pruches from furitek
