Don’t fit on the beetle chassis

These links don’t fit the beetle chassis. Bind up in movement. Have heard from other furitec customers same problems

Great link set.

Great link set, but having a tough time adjusting rod ends to make the front correct, and not have issues with its flex by making contact with the upper links..

lots of adjustments needed

The Alloy skid plate is perfect, fits well and easily.
The links......... they are easy to figure out which are which. i fitted all the plastic rod ends and fitted them until they reached the rods.
To fit the front links i need to unwind the rod ends to match the length of the original plastic links so i could fit them in the same screw holes in the chassis.
The rear links were a nightmare, the shock travel was reduced by the lower links hitting the upper links, so i tried to move the upper links up on the chassis but you cant as the battery tray holder is in the way, so i had to move the link arms forward which pushed the axle back towards the centre of the chassis, i then extended the lower links as much as i could but that only made a little difference, in the end i removed the upper link rod ends and cut off the rounded part on all 4, i re-fitted them into the chassis and with the lower links still wound out they are almost in the right position.
I also had to re-route the wires for the motor and servo because of where the links are fitted.
